About us

Who we are

A Team of passionate volunteers working towards 3 main goals, charity outreach, gender balanced society and youth employability.

Skylight is a dedicated humanitarian NGO based in Cameroon, West Africa, with headquarters in Douala, the economic hub of the country. Founded in 2020 and officially approved by the Senior Divisional Officer of Wouri, Douala, we operate with a mission to uplift communities through charity, employability programs, and gender balance initiatives. Our reach extends beyond Cameroon, striving to make a tangible impact wherever help is needed.

We are powered 100% by volunteers—passionate individuals trained and equipped with the necessary skills to drive change. Skylight emerged as a rapid response to the Anglophone crisis, which deeply affected English-speaking populations and triggered a severe humanitarian emergency. Our commitment is unwavering as we work to provide relief, empowerment, and sustainable opportunities for vulnerable communities.

With branches in key cities like Kumba, Buea, Bamenda, Tiko, and beyond, Skylight has cemented itself as a leader in humanitarian efforts. Our work has been recognized on a national level, earning us prestigious awards for our contribution to achieving Cameroon’s humanitarian objectives. We actively participate in national conferences for local organizations, ensuring our initiatives remain relevant, effective, and impactful.
