What We Do?
Gender Equality Campaigns
With the help of our trained and passionate volunteers, we carryout adequate gender balance campaigns to sensitize, educate, and help our society accept and impliment gender balanced measures. We are proud of the results we are getting.
Skills Acquisition Campaings
Cameroon still stands as one of those coun tries with the least rate of employment. In fact data shows there's a rising unemployment which isn't getting any better. At Skylight, we help youngg people identify potential opportunities and we help them get the neccessary skills required to pursue these career. We also help educated young people become employable. This is a never ending process.
Works Of Charity
At Skylight, we know charity begins at home and this can be felt both within and outside our localities. We plan, analyze, control, and execute charity campaigns from extremely small one home visit campaigns to broad charity outreach. We also help facilitate the process of donors impacting the lives of the needy around through our thorough tested and proven eligibility criteria. Skylight has built a very broad and solid foundation regarding works of charity and we keep doing more as we keep growing steadily. We believe there's fulfilment in touching lives positivly and we're living in that fulfillment through charity.
Who We Are?
Skylight Association is a Government approved NGO registered in the Litoral Region of Cameroon in 2020. We are a team of well trained passion driven volunteers from accross the country and beyond. We are driven by thesame passion and desires to create an impact serving and touching the lives around. Skylight has the necessary rights given by the government to work with volunteers worldwide. This has given us the flexibility to operate in a more diverse way as our teams are open to diversity and inclusion.
At Skylight, we have various branches accross key cities and regional headquarters in Cameroon and beyond. Our activities are tailored towards our objectives, directed by our formidable leadership board and implemented with the help of our volunteers.
Volunteerism:
Skylight for what we are today, we aportion the massive credits to our volunteers and our donors. There’s just no way Skylight can win without our trained and passionate volunteers.
At Skylight, we take volunteerism to a whole new level. We understand therea re a lot of willing hearts with incapable hands to fulfill their desires. So we take it upon ourselves to provide adequate training and all round guidance to all volunteers at Skylight. This does not only equip our volunteers with the skills but also places them within the right team and the right atmosphere.
The state of our society and our communities clearly indicates that we are going to need all the volunteerism we can get. From willing hearts to capable hands, to ready minds. We have been able to enforce enforce a massive impact and this is only still the beginning of a great journey.
As one of the best NGOs in Cameroon, Sylight fosters all the virtues and encourages every single humnanitarian effort. We strongly believe everyone has the ability to make a change and to create an impact in their own way. We have proven that already and we keep proving it.
